Lost Dot are pleased to announce Alex Kopp (027) as the winner of TARNo1, in 6 Days, 1 Hour and 45 Minutes. TARNo1 saw riders departing from Shkodër for the inaugural edition of The Accursed on 14 May 2024. Exploring Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Kosovo — riders took on the Dolomitic mountains of Theth National Park, the karstic plateaus of Montenegro and Bosnia, the sweeping gravel of the Sutjeska National Park, the ancient shepherd’s roads in the Montenegrin highlands, and the saw-toothed route profile of the tracks in-between.

There was just one time adjustment for TARNo1, with Roel Massink receiving 8 hours for borrowing a pump from a campervan. Roel immediately realised his mistake, and self-reported to the Rider Comms Manager, and then the Race Director upon arrival in Shkodër. A lapse of judgement can happen to anyone, but Roel showed real integrity to immediately realise his mistake and own up.
